What CompanyCat collects
CompanyCat collects information you choose to submit through lead capture and feedback forms, along with lightweight product analytics used to understand how the site is being used.
Form submissions
If you submit a form, CompanyCat may collect your email address, name, organisation, role, use case, interest area and message, depending on what you provide.
We use that information to respond where appropriate, understand product demand and improve CompanyCat.
Analytics
CompanyCat uses lightweight product analytics to record page and feature interactions. This uses anonymous session IDs stored in your browser session storage.
The custom analytics implementation does not use cookies.
Data source
CompanyCat uses Companies House-derived data to power company search, company profiles, Radar signals and related category pages.
Where submissions are stored
Form submissions and lightweight product events are stored using Cloudflare-hosted infrastructure and database services.
